Hmm beautiful weather, no bugs, or at least not many!

Hello everyone!
I have discovered that my picture problem was that my photos are too large so I am currently shrinking some of them just to show all of you. Of course as my dad as taught me well, I am saving them under another name. Anyhow, pray for Haiti right now. There are some things in the brewing as far as taxes and such. These kind of things can make the public very irritated and cause problems. Pray for wisdom for the government...they don't seem to have very much...anyhow, things are still peaceful, but you can feel them brewing kind of like a dormant volcano.
I have a few needs. I need some Selsun Blue shampoo. Any kind. The medicated kind is the best, but any will do. I also desperately need some children's tylenol and infant vitamins. for the children's tylenol the chewable is MUCH better than the liquid. I also need chewable children's vitamins. If any of you have a business and want to write an official letter to a vitamin company asking them to donate some for children in Haiti they are normally very willing to do that. I just don't have my own letterhead as of yet. The last two things I need are the medicine cups for measuring out medicine and Anti-fungal cream. It is almost impossible to find down here. Either that or if any of you know of a good place to find it down here.
God bless and I'm so happy to be able to write to you again.

Here we go...Finally!

I hope this works and I get it out to everyone. There always seems to be an interruption. I have been back now for two weeks and life is returning to normal. Kind of. My kids are out of control talking and acting out. I actually had to have the principal come in and she paddled 12 out of my 17 kids! It was quite the emotional experience for all of us, but I think it got the point across. Anyhow, last weekend I took a girls weekend and went out with some of my friends to a nice beach. We had a great time and just reflected on all that God has done for us and just got some much needed rest. I even got to go SNORKLING!!! Its the first time for me and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO cool! We only had to pay 10 US dollars! Seriously, how much do you have to pay when you're in Florda? It was so beautiful and pulled me right into the presence of the awesome Creator that we serve! It was so incredible.
Seriously God definitely put me in the best mission field ever. However, it is also very difficult spiritually. I covet your prayers. As we get closer to Mardi Gras it gets very difficult spiritually. I honestly think that's why my kids have been acting up. I've also been having a lot of disturbing dreams and not sleeping well. I started praying more and really agressively seeking God and it has made a HUGE difference. I know many other missionaries and Christians here who are experiencing many of the same type of attacks spiritually. Please pray for us. God is good and he always keeps his angels on every side of us. I am so thankful that I am here.
Its weird. We actually have a type of winter here. Its chilly and at night it actually gets a "little cold" There are no spiders, cockroaches, or any other bugs. Only the lizards and the mosquitos are out. Its a nice break. I don't miss those little critters at all.
I have an opportunity to teach summer school this summer. Its great because I will have more time to do clinics, but I will also still have a small income. And yes, the answer to everyone's question is that I will be staying here. :) I had a great Christmas and it was nice to visit my family, but this is definitely home for me and I am thankful to be back.
God is so good. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support.
God bless
Maggie
I apologize there are not more pictures. For some reason they will not allow me to download more. I am having internet problems. I think this one will at least whet your appetite for the warm beautiful climate of the Carribean.

I'M HOME!

I got back to Haiti on December 31st. I had a great flight and actually got in 3 hours before expected due to an ability to change my flight to an earlier time FREE OF CHARGE! It was great. I had a relaxing week and saw a lot of friends and spent some great time with everyone.

Its good to be back. I'll tell CHristmas news when I get a chance, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am home and back to work. We started school today.

Love always and Happy New Year! May GOd bless you all immensely.

It was nice to learn how many of you actually read my blog and pray for me. It was such an encouragement. THANK YOU!

Welcome to my Site!

Enjoy the updates and please leave comments! I'd love to hear your news as well.
